> 24 hourI had one of these plugs that I was never able to get to connect to the wifi. They were kind enough to replace it but it took me many attempts to get that second one connected. I was not able to set a schedule so had to manually turn it off and on through the app. Then, I changed internet providers and have not been able to get it reconnected. I have other plugs from Kasa that Ive had no trouble with at all.

> 24 hourUpdate : The customer service representative decided these were defective. They decided to send me the new replacement. I hope the new ones will work great as the company gives the lifetime warranty. I wanted vacation plug so it can turn on and off automatically without any app controls. But this one, whenever its automatically shut down, you need to turn the electricity back on from the app. Useless.

> 24 hourI purchased these to use because I will be having a knee replacement in a few weeks. It is easy to turn my light/lamp on with just a voice command. HOWEVER, the lights keep flashing constantly; even if you turn on Bluetooth. Turning this feature off in the app did nothing. My son finally covered up the lights to stop the flashing; which can only be seen at night/in a dark room. Revised review: I purchased these in November and didnt use them for awhile. They are already broken. Cannot use. Will never purchase again. My son is an IT guy and he cannot get them to work.

Thinking all I had to do was plug it and install the app. In Bluetooth i keep getting an error either app is needed to be used on device which i have installed it. Than i go to the app and it says device has been bound by others. I dont have no idea what that means. Well I decided to dig further in the little box and under the plugs i find 2 cards. And what do I find on one of the cards a FLIPPIN BUGGER!!! WHO DOES CRAP LIKE THIS? I mean I have many choice words I really want to use right now. Not being able to connect it and finding this I really wanna send it back. My kids dont even do crap like this. And no none of my kids got to the package b4 me. I opened the package it came with other stuff so it was boxed and inside another box. Im lost for words like really.

> 24 hourI had to watch some YouTube videos on how to use them then figure it out on my own. Had they come with directions at all I probably would give 5 stars. It was very difficult to learn . You have to set them under what is called ‘rules’ as well. I hope this helps someone. Once I figured it out I LOVE them.

> 24 hourI love these smart plugs! They make it easy to control any the lamps and connected devices from ones phone or Amazon Echo. So, I can turn in the lights, music, etc. from one convenient sweep, which makes setting up for company super easy. The one note is to have ones Blu tooth on, have the Vont app downloaded, and have ones wifi password at the ready to easy set-up a breeze. Its also possible to see weekly usage, set up timers, and set up a vacation schedule. Highly recommended!

> 24 hourTLDR (long version below): About the only thing I could get to work right on these plugs was the manual on and off switch. Everything on the app never worked right. The scheduling function never worked basically at all (it would actually randomly switch my lamp on in the middle of the night, waking me up) and while I got the on and off switches on the app to eventually work, it took a while. I contacted their support about my issues and never heard back. Should’ve just bought a switch timer. Long version: I got these plugs because I was looking for something I could easily schedule to turn my lamp on and my fan off in the mornings to help wake me up and get me out of bed. These were not it. They were easy to setup; the main problem came with the app. When I first went to pair the plugs, the app had trouble finding my wifi. Then the plug software needed to update. That took forever (they say you can go off the page when it’s updating but that just ended up stopping the update). Finally, when that was done I went to go turn the plugs on and off on my app. Nothing. I tried unplugging, resetting, etc. Still nothing. The manual switch on them was still working fine, but turning them on and off manually defeats the whole purpose of getting these. Finally I just went to sleep. Tried them the next day. They finally worked, but only if I tried turning them on and off 2-4 times. Since time fixed the problem before, I thought maybe it might fix the problem now. Maybe the new software is causing an issue or something. I gave them a week and during that time looked at their FAQ and around the internet. I didn’t find anything helpful. Finally, the plugs were turning on and off reliably via my app. Now to set up a schedule on the app (the whole reason I got these). Didn’t work. Okay, I’ll give it some time. A few days later, my lamp was turning on and off. In the middle of the night. Randomly. I kept getting woken up from the hours of 1-4AM, when it was supposed to be turning on at 5:30AM. I checked time zones, did troubleshooting, etc. Did the same thing with my fan, which wasn’t turning off at any point despite the lamp and fan being set to turn on at the same time. The scheduling function just didn’t work. Turned the schedule off on my lamp so I could get some sleep, but kept it on for my fan just to see what would happen. A few days later it started to occasionally turn off when it was supposed to, and about a week after that it started to actually obey the schedule most of them time. The lamp was still a lost cause though. I also sent a help ticket in about my plugs since especially the lamp was still acting up and the many hours I had spent researching fixes for these problems had yielded nothing. They said I should get contacted within 24 hours about the issue. I never got contacted. I waited until my return window almost closed just in case they had a backlog and needed extra time. Nope. Ended up returning the plugs.

> 24 hourEXCELLENT product! I bought four (packs of 2) and then bought another couple. Cant say enough GREAT things about these plugs, my phone (Android) and Alexa found them with no problem. Easy to edit the name of the plug to whatever you want, so you can tell Alexa turn on the XXXX lamp, etc.
