VTech Stack and Sing Rings

This was a gift for my little cousin who is a 6 month old girl. I have never really shopped for toys before, but I liked this one because it was similar to the classic ring stacker by Fisher Price (http://www.amazon.com/Fisher-Price-71050-Brilliant-Basics-Rock-a-Stack/dp/B00000IZQP/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1432746238&sr=8-1&keywords=ring+stacker) I had seen before, but this one seemed to have more features/interactive modes. 1. The monkey on top sings and encourages whoever is stacking the rings as they go along. 2. On and off feature (basically, this thing can act as a normal ring stacker like all the other if you turn off the volume) 3. A LOT of songs and sounds that teach about colors and shapes The rings seem safe for babies, and my little cousin who is a girl absolutely loved it. I think the toy would be good for both boys and girls, and I think it will will be entertaining for her until she is at least 1 or 2.

So much fun for little ones to learn their colors and stack in order. With this set, you can teach your little one in steps by first letting them just stack the rings - it doesnt matter what order, when they get to be a little older you can show them how to put them in the correct order... baby steps. Wonderful for teaching colors, sequence, and counting.

My son love it

My almost 6 month old little boy loves it!! It keeps him entertained because it makes a sound everytime he puts in the ring! Worth every penny! (Plus its inexpensive)

6 month old loves it. Keeps him entertained longer than most of his toys. He is also teething and loves chewing on these rings. I dont know if they are made for that, but they hold up very well.
