I ordered these to make homemade wax tarts. Poured hot soy wax directly into the clamshells. No melting at all!!! The wax popped out perfectly. The quality on these are pretty good, you can tell that the plastic is a little thicker and not the flimsy plastic that bends with every whim. The lid to the clam shells are attached so you do not loose them. When you close the lid the lid stays put and does not pop open at all. This is a great way to save money by making your own melts. Love this product and will buy more as needed.

I melted the leftover candle and turned them into candle wax melts

These are really nice to have. I like to pour my extra candle wax in them. However be warned that if your wax is too hot it will melt the plastic.

Great clamshells, as others have commented they are semi-hard to take apart, that is the only thing disappointing. Other than that, they open with ease once the wax has been poured. My normal clamshells that I use are just the opposite, overall, these clamshells are a great buy.

These work very well for melting down the last bit of candle wax left. The candle wax can be heated then poured right into these containers and they do not melt from the hot wax. They close and open very easily but when closed they do not leak. Using as wax melts for my Scentsy and as Christmas presents for family, very pleased with these!

Excellent for making your own candle melts!

Very good quality clamshells. No matter how many times I open and close to get another whiff of my new creations, they open and close with easy and show no signs of cracking or losing its seal. I had no issues separating these clamshells. They are priced well and worth the money. My only wish is they were eco-friendly.
