> 3 dayI bought this to upgrade from a WD Blue 1TB SSD. The read and write times on NVMe are superior, and my performance does seem to have boosted a bit on many operations. (I do a bit of video editing and gaming.)

17-12-2024Crystalmark benchmarks came up nice filled the drive multiple times and have used ntsc,fat32 and ext4. Temperatures stayed optimal without a heatsink but dropped 10 Celsius with one. Definitely recommended for any application from storing your main system to being extra storage, those speeds are legit 3500mbs read 450~1500mbs write

> 3 dayThe WD_BLACK 1TB SN770 NVMe Internal Gaming SSD Solid State Drive - Gen4 PCIe, M.2 2280, that I purchased for my system was just what I needed. It is very fast and speedy, it operates very reasonably cool and provides plenty of room for Windows 11 and all my other programs and apps to include my Flight Simulator which runs great on my setup. I did change PCI lane configuration in bios to get max speed.

> 3 dayI purchased this to clone my current OS running on a SATA interface SSD drive installed in a Dell Optiplex 7050 small form factor PC. The Dell has a single M.2 NVME interface on the motherboard which is worlds faster than the SATA interface. I installed this WD Black NVME to an NVME-to-USB adapter and then used Macrium Reflect to hot clone my current OS to this new drive. After about 15 minutes, the drive was ready. Powered off the Dell, installed the NVME drive and unplugged the SATA SSD and booted into the BIOS/UEFI to verify settings. After checking things there I let it boot normally. Windows came up FAST and drive speed tests indicate it was maxing out the speed capable for PCIe 3.0, ~ 2,000 MB/s. The difference between the previous SSD drive and this new WD Black NVME is like night and day. Everything runs much snappier and my game load times have been noticeably reduced.
