My PS5 built in SSD filled up a while ago and so with a few Christmas games purchases on the horizon I decided to expand my PS5 storage. Sony specifies the dimensions of the M.2 and more importantly the speed the drives need to be to be compatible with the PS5, needing to reach speeds in excess of 5500MB/s. This drive claims 7000, although when installed the PS5 said I was getting 6700MB/s - close enough. Installation was a breeze, but remember you do need a heatsink which I purchased separately. All my games transferred without a hitch and the new drive is performing flawlessly. Recommended for those who need super fast storage - works great with the PS5 - and the 1TB seems to be a sweet spot for value for money.

This Western Digital drive failed after only 86 days in service (see pic.) Reading other reviews it appears this has happened to others. I returned to WD for warranty replacement. The claim was rejected by Western Digital stating that the drive appeared tampered How do you tamper a solid state drive? WD didnt reply to any further emails for clarification. I was not expecting this poor level of customer support.

Picked this up to go with a new PCIe 4 motherboard. Super super fast, and ideal for my motherboard which came with a heat sink (this SSD does not).

Buyer from Latvia. Couldnt find that good deal in LV, in matter of speed vs value. This was the best deal I could find so far, no complaints in use in my gaming pc.
