I used the Solid State Drive for my PS 5 to have more memory and the download speed is amazing. Because the ps 5 only comes with 825GB. With the solid state I have plenty Of space to install all of my games . There are several videos on how to install the western digital. Black s solid state drive on YouTube . I think it is great.

bought this for my ps5 and its so easy to attach and it formats very quickly. definitely worth paying more to have a heatsink. 10/10 would 100% recommend!

I wasnt sure if this was going to be worth it but its been a game changer for me. Gone are the gut wrenching decisions of which game to delete which occurred way too often given new AAA games such as Horizon Forbidden West and God of War Ragnarok are between 90 GB and 106 GB by themselves. Even with the fastest internet available to me (1GB/S) it still takes a long time to redownload one of these games so I end up just playing what I have ready. This has been a really nice quality of life change with every game I might possibly boot up at the ready and you cant tell a difference if its saved on the console or this SSD.
