Great m.2 drive but definitely gonna cost you

So easy to install & now having 2tb & the ps5 runs faster on downloading

I get advertised Read/write speeds just make sure your motherboard is compatible. I installed it on a asus X570 TUF with pcie gen 4 support.

Llego ante de la fecha prevista sin ningún problema. Es necesario ver alguno de los tutoriales en youtube que incluso Sony tiene, siendo bien fácil su instalación. Muy recomendado porque permite ampliar bastante la capacidad de la PS5.

I was really hoping a genuine PlayStation internal SSD would come from Sony, but I did my research and glad I settled on this WD Black SSD. The system stays cool and the games continue to show zero lag. Always get these with the heat sink included and heads up about the screw that’s meant to hold your SSD during installation. Sony made that little screw a aggravating to remove and replace. But other than that, the SSD installed perfectly fine and formatting it was simple.

Installation très facile dans la ps5 en suivant le tuto sur le site Playstation : nécoutez pas ce ce que disent les tutos YouTube. La visse qui sert à maintenir le disque dans le logement sur la ps5 et située en position 10 avec le petit écrou dessous. Reçu aujourdhui, installé immédiatement, je nai par contre aucune référence sur la longévité de ce disque SSD. 2to a cette vitesse pour 299€, enfin de la place pour moins cher quune ps5.

Bought one for a new desktop build after 11yrs. Awesome drive, so I bought a 2nd 2TB Drive and dont regret it for a moment. WD has also been a good choice so after a few months of researching and comparing decide on WD, based on performance and cost {$$ was not really an issue with me} but reliability was.

Decided to pick up the 2TB SSD with heatsink as it was half price and I desperately needed to expand the minuscule 667GB of usable storage that the PS5 provides. Quite frankly, £250 for what you get is a bargain and I wasn’t going to miss out on it.

Extremely fast. Works perfectly with PS5, slightly faster than internal SSD. Buy heatsink separately and you will save a few hundred dollars (the heatsink-included version is currently overpriced due to high demand likely because of Sony releasing the SSD expansion firmware recently). This is a VERY fast SSD.
