> 24 hourI ordered these to cool down some network appliances I have installed inside a closet. I have the 3 fans pulling air from a vent in the closet onto the appliances. They are extremely easy to install, just plug them in and dial in a speed. They can be configured to be completely silent to moderately noisy. Running these at their full speed is still lower volume then a server fan but audible from across a 20ft room at midnight. During the day running at full speed I could not hear these from across the room. Running these at a moderate speed produced enough air for my scenario and produced a very low audible volume.

> 24 hourInstalled on an open networking rack with the included hardware. The four fans span the rack perfectly and the holes line up with the rack holes. They thoughtfully included the clips to assemble the two fan sets together to make this possible. Easy plug and play from there, but boy are they loud when fully spun up. Just to be clear, most rack fans are loud. They maximize airflow over decibel levels. My other rack fans are actually computer fans that I select due to the low acoustic impact. I did feel I needed a bit more airflow at one point in the rack that gets rather warm. These fans do the trick. The speed controller helps me balance that decibel/airflow balance to the best effect. Quite pleased with them.

> 24 hourI’m on my laptop which is attached to my 4K monitor, I use a lot of demanding applications for work/ school. Although the fan on the laptop is good but it can only do so much and in fear of it crapping out on me and stopping my entire flow of work, I figured I’d give this a try. I got the two 120MM fans, bolted them together within two mins and was good to go! It comes with mounting brackets should you want to attach more fans. I love how it comes with the pegs legs should you want to lay it flat on a table. I love how it came with a dial which you can adjust the fan speed to your needs/liking. I was very surprised on how quiet it is. It does a fantastic job on pulling heat away from my laptop. I’ve noticed an improvement with performance as well. I’m very pleased with this, great for anyone who needs to keep their computer cool.

> 24 hourOK. You want quiet fans that can move a lot of air? Check. You want 120mm fans that can REALLY move some air and dont care about fan noise? It has that too. You cannot complain with that at all. Variable controlled, not via software or through your UEFI (BIOS) but via your own two fingers.

> 24 hourI bought this to install in my living room console to vent the hot air generated by my PS4, which is tucked away inside a compartment with a closed and locked door to keep my one year old from getting into it. The only problem is that the heat buildup caused by running graphically intense games would quickly get the inside of the cabinet way too hot, posing a damage risk to the PS4. This was just the solution I needed. I measured and cut an opening in the thin backing material of the console cabinet and installed these fans to exhaust the hot air out, and left the on/off/speed control switch sitting on the surface of the console until I can rig up a thermal switch or add a smart outlet to control it.

> 24 hourThese fans are solid, appear to be good quality. I got them for my greenhouse, so will have a more detailed review after next summer, and will update then. But in the meantime they do move quite a bit of air, so should help keep the greenhouse ventilated.

> 24 hourThese fans sound almost like a drone when you run them at high speed, though not quite as loud as a drone. That being said, I dont need to run them at high speeds, as they give good airflow even at lower speeds. I have them running at about 30% or so, and they keep my AV equipment cool without any significant noise. I used two blowing air in near the bottom and two blowing air out at the top, and I can actually feel the airflow in various spots in my cabinet with my hand, even at that low speed. I can see these being useful for a wide variety of applications.

> 24 hourHigh quality fans with a variable speed controller. Note that when youre moving as much air as these three fans combined are capable of, theres going to be a bit of noise. It will help if you use foam tape or some other rubber- or compliant-mounting method that isolates these, and that will help ensure the least noise. Recommended.
