> 24 hourI bought this to install in my living room console to vent the hot air generated by my PS4, which is tucked away inside a compartment with a closed and locked door to keep my one year old from getting into it. The only problem is that the heat buildup caused by running graphically intense games would quickly get the inside of the cabinet way too hot, posing a damage risk to the PS4. This was just the solution I needed. I measured and cut an opening in the thin backing material of the console cabinet and installed these fans to exhaust the hot air out, and left the on/off/speed control switch sitting on the surface of the console until I can rig up a thermal switch or add a smart outlet to control it.

> 24 hourHigh quality fans with a variable speed controller. Note that when youre moving as much air as these three fans combined are capable of, theres going to be a bit of noise. It will help if you use foam tape or some other rubber- or compliant-mounting method that isolates these, and that will help ensure the least noise. Recommended.

> 24 hourI have my AV Receiver set up inside a closed cabinet, and have blown two of them over the last four years due to excessive heat buildup. I meant to install a fan to help cool the cabinet when I bought my last receiver, but never got around to it. I recently paid the price. So I finally got my fan, and it works great!! I cut an opening in the back of the cabinet, and mounted the fan so its blowing the hot air out. Ive read some of the comments about excessive noise, but I disagree. If youre sitting right next to the fan, it is dead silent until you turn the speed control up to about the 1/3 mark. Then you start to hear the soft whooshing of the air being blown by the fan, but only if youre sitting right next to it. NO noise from the bearings whatsoever. The air noise does get progressively louder as you continue to adjust the fan speed upward, and is quite loud beyond the 50% mark. But never any mechanical noise from the fan at all! I have it set at just below 50%, and it has significantly cooled down the interior of the cabinet. Hoping my new receiver lasts a lot longer than 4 years!!! I would definitely recommend these fans!

> 24 hourThis is one of the most durable built from metal. adjustable speed and airflow fans I have used. This is a 4x120mm server rack fans 110v . I got this for my greenhouse but can be used for servers and cooling computer systems as well as many other uses. I am very impressed with this very nicely made fan ,a great price for this heavy duty built fan.

> 24 hourOK. You want quiet fans that can move a lot of air? Check. You want 120mm fans that can REALLY move some air and dont care about fan noise? It has that too. You cannot complain with that at all. Variable controlled, not via software or through your UEFI (BIOS) but via your own two fingers.

> 24 hourGood airflow. Easy to control on your own instead of dealing with automated fan curves and no slowdown under 30% and other such junk. You can use it to cool off computers or other high powered electronics inside of a entertainment center.
