> 24 hourSo, this was running fine I thought until I started to notice files missing and realized I must have a virus. I ran a scan and lo and behold I DID have a virus. Of course I was happy that my virus scan WEBROOT found it and gave me the option to clean it out. I clicked to remove the virus and it said that it removed it and started a rescan...this happened four times over a three day period (I was scanning all of the mapped drives). When I reached out to get some support from webroot, they asked me to download an exe file that would send them a log of what was happening. I did and then they wrote me again with a solution...they told me how to eject my mapped drive and to rescan and that should solve my problem...WHAT!? If I do not scan my drive, I will not have a virus! Really? I wrote back asking for a refund because obviously this is a fake product if they can not prevent viruses, can not remove them, and their solution is not to scan the drives so that the problem is solved. They wrote back asking if they could help via a phone call...sure! Why not? Lol, jokes on me, they never called! Would be ZERO stars if possible

> 24 hourI was a devout Webroot fan until I saw a test that prompted a lukewarm review of this antivirus on a website. I thought Id give a free anti-virus a try for a year and reevaluate my results. Big mistake. The free suite may have been sufficient, but you get what you pay for. I thought back over the time I used Webroot and how much I enjoyed its silent presence and decided to give it another try. Im glad I did. It leaves a very small footprint on your hard drive, scans quickly, doesnt hog resources, and is easy to customize. The only reason I chose to give it four stars is a mildly annoying status box that pops up on my computer every time I turn the machine on. Otherwise, no complaints and, depending on my finances, plan on upgrading to the SecureAnywhere Complete when my renewal is up. Note: In addition to this product, I also use the free version of MalwareBytes, free CCleaner, Firefox browser with several privacy add-ons. Webroot has worked well with all of these.

> 24 hourI purchased this product through Amazon. It saved me a trip to the store, as we were all trying to avoid crowds during the Christmas season. Webroot antivirus always scores well in reviews. We have been using Webroot for at least 8 years, and never had any issues with malware etc. My only complaint, is that the Webroot company, is always trying to get their customers to upgrade and purchase directly from them.

> 24 hourThe key code only worked on the desktop. When trying to put on my laptops, key code would not work, something about key code does not exist!!! Thank goodness it worked on my work computer. I have used this for years, this was the first time I’ve had this problem!!!

> 24 hourI like this better than Norton, as it doesnt bog down my computer. Used for several years now. Installation is a bit of a pain, because there are no instruction on how to go into the menu and find the right dialog box to insert the product key. Ordering a new one year pack is much cheaper (by half) than the company renewal that constantly pops up a month before the expiration.

> 24 hourHave used Webroot for years. I do wish they gave more clear info on what each product offers and doesnt. The CD came in a folded cardboard from Webroot, and sealed on one side. It didnt come in the customary sealed plastic box where the license is hidden. Instead, the license number could be easily seen by slightly opening the bottom unsealed part of the folded cardboard. The instructions for install were incorrect. Finally, we decided to uninstall the current version. After that, the install was quick and easy. Webroot doesnt slow down the computer like some anti-virus does. Once you learn it, the program more or less just runs itself, which is convenient.

> 24 hourThe system was hard to install, the only thing I got out of this disk, my laptop crashed, so when I got home I called webropot.com/support. The middle eastern dude was rude. He stated that I needed to follow his instructions and he would install the anti virus. He took over my computer and started to say that my windows ten was corrupt, so I needed a new one . Money (cost) would fix the problem. I advised I just wanted the Webroot installed, nut he said that to do this I needed to buy the operating system. I declined, he was very persistent, but while doing this he locked my computer, when I logged out. I restarted my computer it went to safe mode, I could see the curser arrow moving. Needless to say I lost important documents, pictures of my grandkids. Amazon stated that they were not responsible. So I say do not buy software from AMAZON, nor allow a shyster to take over your computer, THEY A SCAM ARTIST WHO JUST WANT YOUR MONEY. beware

> 24 hourJust got it so I am not sure how good it is other than all the great reviews on Amazon. However, I had to deduct stars for an issue that happened during installation. Webroot flagged Java as a threat so I thought what the heck, and let webroot take it off. After the install was finished, I found that I could hear but no longer see videos on Netflix. Since the only thing that had changed today was the installation of webroot, I downloaded Java onto my laptop and suddenly was able to get picture & video on Netflix again. So I am not happy that webroot caused me a lot of frustration during installation and gave me what I consider false information about a threat. I am a middle age gal who is not tech-savvy by any means so just the fact that I was upset and frustrated during the first fifteen minutes of using this antivirus has me wondering if I would use it again. Time will tell as the old saying goes.

> 24 hourI am pleased with the product I have been using this for over ten years. When I purchased the product again I was unhappy that I had to wait for a cd which was not necessary all I needed was the product keycode which they had sent me in the past via an email.
