This product has worked well for me for the past year. It is easy to install and covers up to 5 devices. I use it on my cell phone and it provides excellent security as well as internet protection. It doesnt require much space and self updates. All this is done in the background while you are performing other tasks. It is reasonable the first time installed, however, if you renew the 2nd year the price doubles! I chose to repurchase the download again and reinstall the product. Difficult to do, but it works. My bank also recommended it. I hope this has been helpful.

Upon initial install Id have to say Im very impressed and quite pleased with this product. Most of my reviews include the detail that Im legally blind. Being visually limited is often a major factor when I select technology based products. It must be easy to use and easy for me to see as well. Webroots Internet Security Complete gets high marks on both ease of use and ease of viewing. I had been using Microsoft Security Essentials since 2013 and felt it left a lot to be desired. Over time my computer began to drag, freeze and crash. Admittedly by the five year mark my tower is antiquated but I know how it operates, Im comfortable with it and I was loathe to set it aside for a newer model. Suspecting that Microsofts SE was not covering all the security bases I went in search of a better antivirus software package. I researched different packages, considered the pros and cons of each product and read reviews. Finally I settled on Webroots Internet Security Complete. I chose this level of the product because I wanted all the bells and whistles. I didnt want to regret not having additional options at a later date. As the product name indicates Ive got the complete package. Being old school and not completely trustful of online, software downloads I purchased the CD version of Internet Security Complete. The software installed quickly and easily. During installation it ran its first scan and detected four virus threats. My suspicions were confirmed - SE was not protecting me as Id hoped. Once the threats were removed Internet Security Complete rebooted my system and then ran a Malware scan. Yet another threat was detected. Consider me gobsmacked *and* thrilled by this products quality and effectiveness. Pairing this software up with CCleaner and a more aggressive anti-malware product I am very optimistic that my antiquated tower might still have some processing life in it yet... hopefully many *years* of smooth operation to come. I cant say enough good things about Webroots Internet Security Complete. This is definitely 5 star caliber software in my opinion. Note: Following the instructions at Microsofts website I disabled SE before installing Internet Security Complete. Here is the link for the details on how to disable/turn off Microsoft Security Essentials... https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/windows/en-US/ccdbae46-4b69-472d-ba55-b30dbf5f909c/preventing-the-microsoft-antimalware-service-to-start-automatically?forum=w7itprosecurity

I wouldve given it 4 starts. Easy to use, relatively light weight, seems to have kept me secure.(for 11 months) HOWEVER, with a little more than a month left on my subscription it began extremely invasive behaviors, endless pop ups to renew, constant warning signs and a grayed out menu bar icon. Now with 23 days left on my subscription it has crippled my VPN not allowing me to connect until I had to close down my VPN. Now I am hanging out in the wind with ZERO Protection. AGAIN, over 3 weeks left on my subscription. BTW- the renewal rate they are forcing me to sign up with is $79.99 a year!!!! I submitted a ticket on their online support page. I got an email back stating it will be 48 HOURS before I can expect a reply. Called their phone support number. After 5 minutes of recorded announcement describing all the various ways I can go screw off rather than get real support, they finally announce that my wait for an online agent will be at least 25 minutes. Not sure what happened to Webroot?!?! I called the customer service number given to re-subscribe and after describing my problem was given the advice to uninstall the app. I asked, you mean and go to another company????.....Yes. I said thanks and goodbye. Goodbye Webroot.

Ive had Webroot installed for about 6 weeks now. This replaced Kaspersky Total Security. I run Windows 10 Home on an older Dell laptop. I can only presume Webroot is doing what it says it is. It runs a scan every day in the background and it is hardly noticeable. Kaspersky used all but freeze my system for hours. Task manager would show 100% disk or 98% CPU usage. Kaspersky would run a rootkit scan and a quick scan at least once a day, One complaint I have about webroot is there are no logs or reports (that Ive been able to find thus far) to review its activity. Im very pleased with how my system is running. I spent a couple days reading reviews on various packages and this seemed highly rated.

Buying directly from Webroot is foolish as their pricing structure is so expensive. I was able to get this at half the cost.

I have been using Webroot for at least 3 years. So far, I have not had any serious problems with hackers or virus. Some minor problems were solved by shutting down the computer and restarting. Amazon price is better than going to the Webroot website. Called tech support to get help loading the update, which was taken care of quickly.

Installed on Win 7 after some hang-ups probably due to slow/intermittent internet service in rural area - internet connection to website required even with CD. Couldnt install on Win 10 or Vista and took to computer repair with high speed internet. Successful on Win 10 but documentation says Vista (and earlier no longer supported). Seems to work fine and similar to Norton which I had used for over 25 years but need to replace because they no longer support Win 7 or Vista.

Just got this. A big mistake. Yes, it is ostensibly easy to configure. Although with some of the parameters, its not clear what exactly youre configuring or what the potential impact of your various choices would be. How hard would a little more explanation be, for those who want it?. Huge frustration has been the browser filter extensions. Had to uninstall and reinstall both Webroot and Firefox several time before the filter extension for Firefox began to work. Weirdly and somewhat disturbingly, though, the Firefox icon was changed to a blank icon, as though Firefox keeps getting corrupted by Webroot in some way. Not sure what thats about and cant figure out a way to resolve it. Still cant get the damn filter extension for IE to work, despite the fact that IEs add-on manager says that its there and enabled. Way, way too much time wasted on this already. Ugh. After all of that time wasted, I went online and found that Webroots been struggling with the browser filter extensions for some time now. All kinds of problems. Multiple iterations of releases. And, still not resolved. While searching on the web for a solution to the browser filter extension problems, I ran across this on the Webroot website from Feb 2015: This is essentially down to the way that WSA works; it does not scan your entire drive and every file by default but rather it only scans for active files/apps, on the premise that if malware is dormant/inactive then it is not a threat...which makes absolute sense when you really think about it...but the moment that a dormant file/app starts to run/goes active WSA pounces on it, determines if good or bad and acts accordingly, i.e., allows to proceed or blocks & cleans, etc. OMG, are you kidding? So, Webroot doesnt actually find and eliminate threats already on your hard drive, but waits until theyre running and then tries to stop them??? I dont need to point out the obvious shortcomings of that approach. Would be nice to know what Webroots privacy policy is without having to dig for it. The fact that its deeply buried somewhere (Ive not been able to locate it) likely isnt a good sign. It also struck me as odd and troubling that theres no option in the settings for what info gets sent or not sent to Webroot, like with all other virus protection software Ive ever used. I can only assume the worst. Finally, upon looking more closely at the Amazon reviews which led me to buy this in the first place, its hard not to wonder whether a lot of the reviews are bogus and were written by Webroot-paid trolls. There are the tell-tale signs of this: Many reviewers did not make a verified purchase and/or wrote a simple one line review and/or have never reviewed any other product. Frustrating. Very worrisome. Will return.

This is the third year using this product and very satisfied with the software Fast and doesnt take up to much space. My only caution is tho make sure you know what you are buying and where it is from. This review is for the Secure Anywhere Internet Security Complete.for 5 Devices Last year,I had a problem when purchased this. I received an incorrect software.- Internet Security for 3 Devices. Not realizing, I installed it and then found out something wasnt right because is showed as an Antivirus software. Amazon was great to help me rectify the situation and I received the correct software. Make sure you read the fine print as, I tried to uninstall the incorrect software but could not remove the key code. Webroot tells me that this code belongs to a Webroot software sold by Best Buy and I would have to contact Best Buy to get this removed. Well Best Buy wants a fee to remove a product that they sell. Go figure.
