These scissors have one major flaw - They are uncomfortable to use. I was using them to cut up plastic milk jugs and you have to squeeze hard to cut through some of the thick parts. Well, the problem is the inside of the finger holes have a ridge all the way around (its almost sharp) that digs in to your thumb and back of finger. After 1 jug my finger was really hurting and my thumb was on the verge of getting a blister. Id say spend a few more dollars and buy a better pair.

And they are hefty, feeling good in hand when cutting. They seem well built and there are no gaps between the blades or misalignment that makes them difficult to open of close. What more can I say? They are scissors that do their job.

Very attractive set, I like to have a good pair of scissors in my kitchen crock with other utensils for handy daily use but wanted a pretty pair that I can enjoy on display as well. These are great!

Excellent cutting ability, a little awkward with handling will cutting. So if cutting alot, Might not be the best. But if not a ton of cuts, excellent choice.
