> 3 dayThis is the first solid-state drive Ive had it this type. Ive got to say, Im pretty impressed. With the physically small size of this drive, and the capacity of 500 gigabytes, and the fact that its fast as Greased Lightning, Ill never go back to a standard Drive! The drive itself is easy to set up, no special software needed, and Windows Disk Management had no problem seeing and setting up the drive. Currently, Im using this in an external enclosure to transfer files between computers. This is way more convenient than the old Styles external drive I had. My old driveway at about a pound and a half and this one is just a couple of ounces. I cant wait until my next home computer build when I will make certain to choose a motherboard that will be able to use drives like this. The speed is amazing. If you do use this in an enclosure, you will probably notice as I did that it does build up a little bit of heat. Just having the enclosure plugged in, over time it gets warm to the touch. Im sure this is the nature of the Beast, but its not exactly comforting. Next time I choose an external drive enclosure, I will make sure to get one with a heatsink on the external.

> 3 dayConsistent and as advertised speed. Built a Non overclocked PC Gaming Rig for my son. My son loves it! Just upgrading the the old reliable fast nvme xpg 256gb (1800+Mbps read / 850+Mbps write). Decent increase on game load time (installed on the nvme).

> 3 dayHoly moly, this thing is fast. I leapfrogged SATA SSDs and went straight from a 2.5 5400 RPM SATA hard drive to this. The old drive managed 80 MB/s read in udisks / Gnome disk tool. This does 3200 MB/s. It feels that much faster. Xubuntu boots instantly. Firefox launches instantly. I basically never have to wait for the disk anymore.

> 3 dayI wanted an SSD in my Dell laptop to get the advantages of this type of device including boot speed etc. Dell is a pain regarding the removal of their case but that part went fine, even getting each of the screws back where they belong. I was able to clone the new drive using Macrium Reflect. Very good program, since the SSD was smaller that the SATA i had installed. My problem was initiating the SSD to be the primary boot drive. I contacted Western Digital and they were clueless, just about having an argument with someone in another country (could not understand a word they said) To be honest, DELL was also clueless. In the past, prior to Windows 10, it was easy to change the boot order but not now.
