This bit is a very nice bit, but needs cleaned frequently. Im picky and clean this after almost every use if there is a build up of pitch on it. Used mostly for flattening stock in my CNC.

Works as it should. Seems to be well built. Only used once so far.

I made a router sled and used this to flatten a hardwood /epoxy river table. I did get some burning but im chalking it up to user error and running it too deep. I stopped to clean the blade edges a few times and that was helpful

Bought this to flatten boards to wide for my jointer and for end grain cutting boards. Works great

Used this to cut a table top from a elm tree block of wood. Cut this without any problems and the bit is still sharp.

Cuts good, gets a little hot but not too bad. It cuts epoxy well.

I bought this to flatten the spoil board on my cnc machine. It works well for this purpose.

I bought this for stock and spoil board surfacing on my CNC router. This is a very well-made product, and worth the money. My only caveat is that, if you plan on using this on a large piece (my spoil board is 3 x 4), it may be worthwhile to buy a larger bit. A 1 surfacing bit will get the job done a lot faster. Be wary of Big Box MDF when using this bit. Ive twice encountered staples buried in the middle of MDF. The most recent encounter did some damage to this bit.

I bought this bit to level and flatten some live edge rounds. I made a special table with adjustable rails and a trough to run a router back and forth across the rounds. The bit worked perfectly in my setup. My only regret is that I probably should have bought a wider bit to minimize the number of passes.
