> 3 dayIts Whiteside and it works! Im not one to get the caliper out to measure down to the 1/millionth of an inch for accuracy since Im cutting wood and not building rocket parts for NASA so I cant speak to nth degree accuracy but the bit does what it was designed to do. It turns flat stock in to something youve designed and does a good job in the process.

> 3 dayI got this to cut the entrance chamfer into the Teflon tube for my Prusa 3D printer. It is sharp and cute the Teflon nicely just twisting it by hand. Rather a specialized use, but it worked well for it.

> 3 dayThree flutes are great. Very smooth insertion with a plunge router and smooth sides to the cavity. A longer shaft would be nice for use in a plunge router making signs. Im using mine in a Bosch colt with plunge base. Would buy again.

Greater than one weekDont use the photo for this item to decide if this is the right bit... the photo is incorrect! I also found that photos on the manufacturers website were also misleading, but the descriptions are correct. The Whiteside #1541 is a solid carbide 60° V-groove bit that is 1/4 in diameter, has a 1/4 shank, and a 3-flute cutting point. I purchased this bit to use in router-carving wood signs, and it performs exceptionally well in this role. The tool is very sharp and has maintained its edge well through use. Great value for the money!

> 3 dayWith two projects done so far but I am very pleased with the clean cut. Ive used it to cut decorative borders in hard maple cribbage boards. The bit cuts to a point with no flat spot on the end. Very happy with the bit.
