> 24 hourIt is a little thicker than the brand I normally use. I didn’t know how to rate “sheerness”. It has very good coverage. Very opaque, not sheer at all.

> 24 hourAfter using W paints for many years ( I bought into the hype, foolish me) i would notice grittiness in many colors and a fading over time. Golden paints bought Williamsburg :( and while they brag about their high pigment quantity the proof is in the pudding and their colors absolutely fade. I suspect fillers in these paints. Not immediately but over time. Want to feel disappointed and cheated when you see your painting looking dull? Then go ahead and use these. Pure pigments mixed with linseed oil with no fillers will stay vibrant and will never fade. Now that I make my own oil paints, I clearly see the difference. I dont recommend these to any working/ professional painter.

> 24 hourIve used Utrecht titanium white for decades. It is very good and economical and Ill continue to use it when a section of a painting requires large volumes of white. I recently tried this Williamsburg Titanium White and wow, it just feels perfect when lightening colors with it. It has a very rich consistency and blends very easily. It is when you apply it with either brush or painting knife that you begin to really appreciate it -- it has a certain touch. Its not as inexpensive as others, but unless youre going to use a lot it isnt a big consideration.
