Greater than one weekExcellent quality dog bone power adapter cable. Featuring an L5-30P (plug) on one end, and a TT-30R (receptacle) (the TT, standing for Travel Trailer), this cable is the perfect go between for your RVs power cable, and your inverter generator. This cable is rated (and has a connector for) 30-amp service. The build quality is professional- everything sealed, and the cable is thick. The wire is flexible, while retaining the appropriate amount of stiffness to instill confidence in the copper within. The PVC jacket is billed as flame retardant, and UV protected. The L5-30P connector (generator-side) is a 3-prong, twist-lock, and the TT-30P connector (RV-side)- with its 90-degree slanted primary contacts- is 3-slotted, featuring a molded-in handle grip, for easy (and safer) disconnects. The entire dog bone assembly measures 12-inches long, and a quick test with a DMM (digital multi-meter) showed zero resistance, across any of the three conductors. The assembly has an ETL certification molded on the connectors- meaning, it meets UL certification standards. What more could you ask for? Im a happy camper!

Greater than one weekTough little plug that I had no problems plugging in, and I have weak fingers. Nice solid prongs that don’t bend up. Very thick rubber and great protection for wiring. High quality plug. No doubt in my mind that it will last a lifetime. Weathers storms with no trouble. Reasonably priced.

> 3 dayPromise delivered. Good Quality. No surprises. The adapter may be waterproof but the connections aren’t so take care in wet conditions. The instruction sheet mentions a “power indicator” but I don’t see it. As the picture indicates, polarity is proper and my Honda 3000si has ground and neutral bonded as appropriate for portable plug-in gensets (those connected with wires need a transfer switch to handle this internal connection for code compliance). The ‘do-not-remove’ tag on the plug has more to it than the instruction sheet. Do read it and understand the hard-earned lessons described. Both the tag and the instruction sheet look to be rather generic for a product line so it is necessary to match what you read to this particular adapter.
