> 24 hourI got tired of big market and the money needing to spent to winterize my camper, when I could use the phone I use EVERYDAY and research ways to do it. This little item helps me to do it! I will say this, adjust your compressor to 40-50lbs psi!! Again, 40-50lbs psi on you air compressor output!! I didn’t make that mistake but I had prior knowledge to tools, piping and pressure. Now I don’t have to worry about and chemicals in my water line other than what’s already in water.

> 24 hourLiked the fact you can control the pressure with the shutoff, prior to connecting the compressor lines.

> 24 hourMy adapter arrived with teh three segments loose. I had to tighten them up. Youll need a 1, 5/8 and 9/16 wrench to do this. Vendor should do this before it ships. Otherwise it worked great. Go for it.

> 24 hourThis competitively priced blowout adapter does exactly what it is designed to do: allows you to easily connect an air compressor (via a standard male quick connect) to the garden hose fitting of (in my case) an RV to winterize by using the compressed air to blow the standing water out of the water lines, thus protecting them from freezing and bursting. Pros: The adapter is constructed of quality brass materials. The male quick connect fitting fits my female fitting without issue. The quarter-turn valve handle clears the female quick connect fitting. Cons: My only complaint is that the male quick connect fitting and the GHT fitting should have either had thread sealer applied, or teflon tape should have been used, as the fittings were loose and leaked air. That was easy enough to fix, but I should not have had to. Not enough of an issue to deduct a star, but something I feel the manufacturer should address. If you dont need / want the quarter-turn valve, you can find blow-out adapters that are smaller and lighter for a few bucks less on Amazon, but the quarter-turn valve does provide some additional convenience.
