I bought this because I saw a glowing review on YouTube. First off, it was a real frustrating experience getting it signed on to our WiFi which is VERY strong. The instructions mentioned NOTHING about holding down the power button for 5 seconds (Closer to 10 seconds) to get the light flashing for pairing. Their “Customer Service” thought that was really funny when I pointed it out. Strike two. THEN after several botched efforts at getting the thing Paired, I finally did. And THEN after about two weeks, It shuts itself off. We had no power failure, it just quit. The light was still on, but had changed color. NO notifications from the App, no kind of warning. So how did I find out? All three devices I had charging received ZERO Charge overnight. Strike Three. Not what I would expect from a $30 outlet. So today I tried to set it back up, because the App just said “Offline” with zero options to repair the original link. After six botched attempts to set this Albatross back up, it “Timed out” every single solitary time. Strike four. PLUS unlike most every multiple outlet extenders for HALF the Money, it lacks a hole to put a screw through the device to secure it to the original receptacle. So if you need to unplug a device, the entire thing is likely to come out unless you use two hands. Very poorly thought out. Strike five. I’m returning it and buying a “dumb” one. I may be retired, but I still don’t want to spend hours fooling with a Danged outlet. And I like to have my devices Charged when I get up in the morning. Stay away from this thing. It’s not ready for Prime Time. Cheers.
