> 3 dayUpdate: switches stop working after a few days and I need to keep removing from app and re-pairing them. I turn on lights and within 30 sec-10 minutes lights shut off. This is a troublesome issue. I removed a star due to this development. Cannot put two plugs in same outlet these plugs paired perfectly with Alexa and have been reliable so far. I gave them five stars on everything, except for the fact that you can’t stack one on top of the other in a two outlet socket. Because of that, you reduce the amount of outlets you have in the room. Had they been just slightly smaller I could have put two together.

> 3 dayIf it is this hard to get Alexa to recognize devices that are connected to devices; are light devices or not? If not then these are useless. They go back,

> 3 dayThis is one of the easiest smart plugs Ive ever had the pleasure to setup! The manual tells you to simply hold the power button for 5 seconds while you are closer to your router and after you release, the plug gets recognized right away and it sets up in like 30 seconds or so. We used the Smart Life app as we already had other devices connected to it. And as Alexa is also attached to Smart Life, it made an announcement that our new device is ready to use and voice control. I would recommend this smart plug to anyone!

> 3 dayThe setup process was so easy! I used the Gosund app which has auto scan. Once you plug up the mini smart plug and the app is in auto scan it found all of my devices. EASY!! I have a dual WiFi router which uses 2.4 ghz and 5 ghz and the smart plug automatically knew how to connect. (This uses only 2.4ghz) I really loved how simple this process was instead of turning the power on/off to get into a setup mode. To connect Alexa to smart plugs all you need to do is enable the the skill in the Alexa app. Search for the gosund app in skills in Alexa, log in to the gosund account and boom you’re able to use voice to turn on and off devices plugged in. Whatever you name the plug in the gosund app Carries over to Alexa or google smart app. I think the price is great and you can use other plugs in a 2 plug socket so not too big where it blocks other sockets. Theres also a button to manually turn on and off the plug if the internet is out. I removed a star because 3 out of the 4 plugs work…. one is broken. The Seller needs more quality control by testing every unit before it’s ship because one of mine showed up broken and that Sucks. Still would recommend because it’s a good functional smart plug.

Greater than one weekSeemed to connect ok and set up was straight forward… but I was shocked to see the on/off button does not display in Smart Life app like the many other plugs and switches I use. Only way to know if it’s on or off is to push app button and wait for it to open. I’m used to scanning app quickly to confirm what’s on or off. I returned and do not recommend them.
