Love my woolbuddies!

I had been needle felting on top of the foam blocks for awhile and needed to find a more durable needle felting surface. Woolbuddy comes to the rescue! It is a fabulous surface to felt on. Not too firm and not too soft. This size is perfect too! Gives me plenty of room to work without being too cumbersome or in the way. I highly recommend the Woolbuddy!!!

My friend recently got me into the felting hobby. She gifted me the needles and some felt and said I could use a sponge as the base. Instead, I decided to order this mat. So glad I did. Its a large size that sits comfortably in my lap. It was fun to try my hand at felting while I relaxed on my couch and watched tv. Thick and large enough that you dont have to worry about poking through or around your project.

The mat is a wonderful texture. There is less resistance than the mat I had been using so I think the needles will last longer. It’s also the best looking mat I’ve ever used. Love it!
