Running it for 4? months and no issues. The included heat spreader plate-sticker is probably good enough but buying a cheap heatSink is probably wise to stick on top of it all. Used some old thermal pad and a choppped up pc heatSink as a homemade heatsink, held on with a couple rubber bands. Also running it all with the ssd cover off. Good little gen4 drive and I personally doubt the PS5 will ever actually need read speeds above 5k mb/s.

It works great with the ps5, but after install the console will tell you its slightly slow, BUT still works fine.

The unit came relatively on time, one day late. It shows 1.89 gigs of ram in windows. The issue I have is at registration, Once you register you can supposedly download a free Acronis disk image; the link is broken. No matter what I did the link didnt work. I needed that to clone my C drive onto this drive. I purchased software instead. Oh well. The thing is very fast compared to my SSD, time will tell if it is durable.

This m.2 card work with the PS5. It dosent have a heat sink, it has a thermal shield. This m.2still works well and so far has handle the heat nicely its not the best or the fastes. For a m.2 1tb for 87 us dollars I couldnt pass it up.

Great budget M.2 drive for your PS5. It worked and as far as I know, games are loading extremely fast, comparable to onboard storage. The drive read speed was 5,100MB/s when it was formatted by the PS5 upon boot, so the system did warn that the drive was slower that its 5,500MB/s, but real-world usage, works fine.

I couldn’t ask for anything more, this item even came with thermal protective tape and a heat shield cover. The M.2 drive worked without any issues inside of my PlayStation 5. Great product especially for the price.
