> 3 dayFirst off. If your a professional woodworker, that’s awesome, I aspire to your skill some day. This tool isn’t for you. We understand it’s not Freud etc. However. If you like me have a specific job in mind that requires this bit your in luck. Because cost to quality this tool simply works. Renovating a portion of my house I was presented with the issue of a trim design that I really couldn’t readily find available in the store and desiring to match the more historical trim in the rest of the room I needed to make my own. Out of the box this bit ran true with no excessive ballance issues or imperfection. It was sharp, free of rust and ready to work. I feel that one of the biggest issues a truly novice woodworker makes is attempted to cut the entire contour in one pass. However if you make multiple passes taking smaller amounts of material this tool works very well and provides a nice clean cut.

> 3 dayThe bits come in a beautiful sturdy wood box. The carbide is very high quality and brazing is very clean on each bit of my set. The non-stick yellow coating is applied clean and even. The bearings are high quality and bolt down well and secure on to the shaft of the bits. The name on the shaft is put on neatly on each bit of the set. There was also an surprise coupon in the packaging for future purchases!. Bits run very well on the router and perform very well hand held or on the table. I have routed many feet of MDF, plywood and soft woods like pine. The bits route clean and there is no strain on the router, I feel that I was able to route my stock a lot quicker than with my lonely old round over bit this set replaced. I had only one scrap of poplar to try for hardwood and it did just fine. Tips: 1) as soon you receive the bits inspect them. 2) be very careful removing them from the box as the carbide will cut your fingers and you see it before you feel it. 3) inspect and clean the bits to remove the manufacturing sticky stuff. 4) The carbide edges on the smallest three bits can touch at their widest point when inserting in the box. Take care to stagger the edges so they dont touch. Update: I had an issue with one bearing and emailed customer support. I got a response in a couple of hours and they only asked for a picture of the errant bearing and mailed out a new one the same day. Thats good customer service. The feel good part of this event is that in the initial response, Jonathan the CSR advised that all the bits of the set have the same size bearing and I can swap them to finish my project in time. Saved my weekend. Thats thoughtful customer service. To watch the this brands bits in action view the review by WoodWorkWeb on youtube.

> 3 dayThe profile made on the vertical edge has a a small step, not just a smooth radius, as shown in the pics in the description. I see in the questions the the vendor responded to someone that there is a different bit or just swap out to a 1/2 bearing to get a smooth profile. They mentioned a manufacturers number, but not an Amazon number. Bottom line, from the description, this bit should have a 1/2 bearing installed, or the description changed. As I used it on some 5/4 outdoor furniture lumber, I just sanded off the extra material - about .030 or so. The price was cheap enough to overlook - we will see how long the carbide lasts....

12-04-2025Really good for the price. I make my own mouldings, but Im not a professional. This is the right balance of quality and value. I buy Yonico bits almost exclusively - just works out that they have what I need... good but cheap.

> 3 dayThis Yoniko Roundover bit is excellent. I am new to using a router (not to wood working) and was able to use it within 20 minutes of practice to make this oak display stand for my flintlock. I have to admit, I did watch a few You Tube videos first but I was surprised how fast and easy it was to shape the edge of a piece of oak wood. This is a sharp bit and it cuts effortlessly. Highly recommend.

Greater than one weekI needed this for one job and it worked great. I don’t use these much, but it worked great. No burn marks on wood or tool after using it. As little as I will use these why pay more. I ran these on about 50ft of boards looks as good as the high dollar bit would have done.
