These are by far the best way to safely and thoroughly clean your glasses. Far better than microfiber or any other cloth. In the past, Ive cleaned my glasses - - when they got smeary dirty - - under the faucet with Dawn and warm water. It cuts the nose-grease (is that a term?), but tends to corrode your hinges and hinge screws. These do the job quickly and thoroughly, and your spec are ready to wear in seconds. Theres a faint alcohol smell, but its very mild. Theyre also great for camera lenses - - that accidental thumbprint vanishes almost instantly. Other reviewers have mentioned dry packets; this has not been my experience. Ive been using them for several weeks, and theyve been great. Sometimes the simple things in life are the best. These are. I work in a lab where I need to wear safety glasses and I recently started to wear glasses. These wipes are far superior to the ones my work provides. I find that immediately after wiping the glasses may appear to have smears, but once fully dry they are clear as can be. If your glasses are super oily from your skin you may need to use two wipes to remove the excess oil. However these will remove the oil and not smear like other wipes. I will be purchasing again.
