ZUGU CASE - 2017/2015 iPad Pro 12.9 inch (Old Model) 1st & 2nd Gen Case Prodigy X - Very Protective But Thin + Convenient Magnetic Stand + Sleep/Wake Cover for Men & Women (Black)

I finally had to replace the iPad case. The original ZUGU case is four years old and looking pretty ragged from the abuse I gave it. That case definitely kept the iPad protected. Had a little issue with the new case which was promptly resolved by ZUGU. The new case is much nicer. It’s not as bulky and no Velcro. Between the improvements made over the years and the customer service backing the product I will happily continue to do business with ZUGU.

Perfect, wish it had an integrated handle of sorts. But the item is exactly as described and the iPad sits straight out for easy access, as the base is behind the display. Thats better for keeping on your desk as its easy to access touchscreen. Other cases have the base extend 6 inches or so in the front-

This is my second Zugu Case for an iPad Pro (1st gen 9.7” and 2nd gen 12.9”) and both are far superior in quality to any other case I’ve seen. The look, fit, feel and protection provided are all exceptional. Highly recommended and well worth the price!

Javais une coque pour mon Ipad pro 2017 déjà acheté sur Amazon. Le style coque pour militaire tout en caoutchou, hyper solide mais hyper épaisse et pas très design. Jai voulu donc changer pour une coque solide mais un peu plus design. Je suis globalement très satisfait de cette coque même si je ne peux pas confirmer la solidité de la protection vu que mon ipad na subi aucun chute depuis linstallation. Apparemment lipad semble bien protégé.

Im a fan of Zugu cases, had an older leather style version since 2016, and and after heavy use over 2 years, it was time for a new one. I liked the old case, but this one is a big improvement. It uses magnets instead of velcro, which I was skeptical about, but the magnets are holding it very solidly in position! And yet if I want to raise the angle up, all I have to do is hold the bottom on the table and raise the top part, and the magnets ratchet into place - pretty nifty! The old version had a high lip around the edge, which made it difficult to swipe from the very top or bottom (to pull up the iOS notifications, etc.), and this new version doesnt suffer from that problem! It lacks the handstrap of the old version, though I never used that. If you have the Apple Pencil (or other stylus) in the pocket, it wont lay competely flat on the table, but that should rarely be an issue. The elastic pencil holder on the old version grew slack over time - I suspect that will happen here too, but since its a full-length sleeve rather than a narrow one, I expect it to hold up much longer - but elastic can only stay elastic for so long. Another drawback of this case is that the surface that touches the screen when closed is the same surface that touches the table when open - so you need to pay more attention to where youre setting it, and maybe clean the table first, or laying something down on top of it. The main reason I picked this case, as well as the previous version, is how solidly it holds its angle, which is good if youre doing artwork or playing intensive games on it. The common style cases, which just have 3 or so thin ridges to set the angle, just wont cut it for me.

I was very impressed with the quality of the Zugu case for my iPad Pro. Unfortunately, the opening for the headphone jack is too small and recessed for my headphones to connect. Other than that, its a nice case.
