Received this 5/20/19 and used it for the first time on a plane to Kenya 6/20/19. It was not overpacked and the zipper tore within 24 hours. Liked the amount of pockets, but overall would not buy it again. Can’t imagine someone carrying books in it. Very disappointed in it. Would not have given it one star but required it to submit review

I am happy with this purchase. It is completely water-proof, until you have been biking with it is a downpour for over 30 minutes, then things touching the bottom will take on water. Everything else wont actually get wet. I like the darker purple that it actually is and the feel of the backpack is very durable and lightweight. My biggest problem is the cupholders being too small to hold a water bottle comfortably. I do keep my decent sized metal water bottle in one side and the elastic band at the top has already pulled completely free causing the water bottle to fall out that side sometimes, and it wont be long before the netting on that side rips too far. And this is after two months of daily use.
