> 3 dayThis automatic fan is a must have for any hot running amplifier or AV receiver. It also looks great with my Marantz receiver. Just set it up and let it run. The fans high setting is a little loud, but I would rather tolerate a little noise than burn up my receiver.

> 3 dayThese are great fans for audio equipment. I have to T-9s which have digital displays and blow out the rear. They never allowed the receivers to rise above 85 degrees. I bought this model because i needed a front exhaust fan but didnt want to look at a busy display when watching TV. Four stars because the fan display when on is ridiculously bright and white. I used a blue filter gel to cut the light and it reduced it to a less glaring brightness with a color more appropriate to the other displays. I know you can turn the display off but I prefer to see what its doing. Still a great quality product!

> 3 dayI use two S10’s to pull out and exhaust the heat my two class AB multi-channel power amplifiers produce. Build quality is quite sturdy. The “smart” mode is perfect for automatic turn on, automatic fan speed adjustment and automatic shutoff. These components are a great inexpensive investment for expensive home theater power amplifiers as heat is their worst enemy.

> 3 dayMy stereo receiver would run pretty HOT especially when someone would close the cabinet doors all the way. Now it runs cool I still need the doors to be opened up but it runs much, much cooler now with the S10 great product.

> 3 dayTo make that large bright fan speed light invisible in any mode, all you do is press and hold the Mode button (the left button on the front of the unit) for 3 seconds and the light will now be in invisible mode and will not show at all even when the unit changes speeds up or down...... Do the same thing again to make the light show if thats your thing.

> 3 dayWorks great. In my opinion it wasnt that hard to set up/program. I have it set to turn on only to speed 1, and it will cycle on/off without needing a higher fan speed. My amp is only powering 2 klipsch tower speakers so its not putting out a ton of power. Fan is loud enough at speeds 3/4 to not want to use it. It smelled a bit for the first couple months. Not sure if it was my amp or the fan.
