AC Infinity AIRPLATE T7, Quiet Cooling Fan System 12 with Thermostat Control, for Home Theater AV Cabinets

I love how quiet this fan set is. The controller is very good and the only minor grip I have is either this or the other fan set this controller manages chirps when they turn on. While I say these are quiet, at full speed they are noticeable, but in comparison to other fan sets I have tried, these are SIGNIFICANTLY more quiet.

When I built my new house last year, I decider to create a media closet where I keep all of my electronics including dish network receiver, AV receiver, Roku, HDMI switch, and HDMI slitter. After just a few days I realized that the heat build up in the closet was too much so for over a year I left the door open 3-4 inches so air could get in.

I bought this to install in my coat closet that I turned into a small network closet. I needed to blow out the hot air sitting above the door frame created by my network switch. I reversed the fans on the plate, cut the drywall, drilled a stud, popped the power wire down the waterfall plate and mounted the fan. I installed a vent plate on the other side of the wall that allowed the hot air to be pushed out by this dual fan. It works very well and I have not had a problem with the controller either. I have mine set to 81 and the fans dont kick on past the low setting very often when the weather isnt too hot. I would say its not noisy compared to the switch I have running in the closet right now. I cant tell when it turns on, thats a good thing.

Moves enough air quietly. Easy to install. Works well with my media rack, to keep components cool. Love the ability to program the unit to automatically turn on at the desired temperature. Easy to integrate with other fan units from the same company.

We liked the fan panels look and control but the noise level is high. I had to use the lowest fan speed but even at the slowest speed the noise is very audible -- not recommend it for cooling hi-fi system if you listen music

Received fan and temperature contoller combination and was extreemly impressed with both design and build quality. Unit is aesthetically pleasing and would certainly compliment almost any installation.

The AC Infinity AIRPLATE T7 was the perfect answer to our receiver overheating inside the media cabinet. We had no clue to what we needed or were really looking for when we came across this item and ordered it. It arrived in just two days. We installed it easily and the best part of all is the convenience of having a digital control with a temperature gauge. It manages the heat levels itself! The size was perfect and when it is running you can barely hear it (with the receiver not being on)! You cannot hear it at all when the receiver is playing. We are incredibly pleased! Thank you for producing such a great product.
