Bought this for my ps5 works great/fast I would purchase another one if I ever needed to

Really easy to install and working as intended after 3 weeks. PS5 recognized it with issues and game transfers between internal and this SSD are really fast.

I did a h2testw and CrystalDiskMark on this. Nothing to report. Got about 4000/4000. PS5 accepted the drive as well and said it could support ps5 installed games.

When you look at the specs of 5000 MB/s read and 4500 MB/s write with SLC cache, it does make you start comparing similar speed SSDs. Real-world usage the SLC cache will get you that level of speeds for a short amount of time and you rarely know what to expect. As far as benchmarks I got a peak of 5125 MB/s read and 4610 MB/s write so this SSD performed above the marketed peak speeds. For real-world usage it averaged 4894 MB/s read and 4480 MB/s write which is very impressive.

If you are looking for more storage are a speed improvement, this might be the SSD for you.

I installed this as a data-only drive in a brand new windows 11 pc. Formatted NTFS, and away we go for some informal testing.

Cloned my existing drive and then popped this into my laptop with ease. Fit like a glove and have been running with no issues. Speed feels right in my Msi stealth 66.

I tested this on 5000-series Ryzen 7 with X570-P motherboard using CrystalMark.
