Only four stars because two of the clips were bent and another was cut in half. However I was able to install.

Product as Advertised, used to replace a crack chromebook screen/LCD.

Quality replacement. Got my wifes Chromebook back on the road with a minimum of hassle. Do your research if you havent replaced the screen on this particular model before. In particular, the keyboard cover switch (under the keyboard, against the back of the case toward the right, about 5 mm square) can become dislodged and cause the unit to only work with the power/charger cable plugged in.

This screen was a great value and also easy to replace. All I did was search for a video on Youtube showing someone replacing their screen and I was then able to follow along. It took at most 10 minutes and made me feel like I knew something about computers. Plus the price for just the screen is a great deal less than buying a new Chromebook.

Only one dead pixel, but I can live with it because I can only see it on dark backgrounds and the replacement is still infinitely better than the broken screen I had. Ive never replaced a laptop screen before, but I did it in less than ten minutes.

A perfect fit for our Acer Chromebook. Installation was incredibly easy - two screws, a little spudging around the edges, two more screws, and the old screen came out, and the new screen went back in. If youve accidentally broken the screen of your Chromebook, this is the perfect part to get. Packaging was awesome as well- many sellers just slip things like this into a padded sleeve and hope for the best, but this was industrial class packaging capable of surviving the worst UPS could dish out. Great item! My screen broke a few weeks ago, and I couldnt use my computer. My husband purchased this screen as he bought something like this before, and knew how to install a new screen. I was happy when we got this, and my husband was able to change the screen for me - and now my computer is good as new! Perfect, ready to work! The screen works very well, no problems! My previous screen would shut down a lot, even before it actually broke, and this one is just right! It was also fairly easy to install. I am so glad we were able to get this screen, to not have to buy a new computer altogether. Great product, I highly recommend it if you need a new screen!

I watched a YouTube video and followed along. It took 15-20 mins. The worse part for me was getting the 4 small screws back in that hold the screen. Unsnapping the screen frame was easier than I expected and only required a small flat head screw driver around one of the seams to get a grasp on it. Once the frame was off I took the time to clean it up, because my kid got something gooey around the hinges. She is also the reason I needed to replace the screen. I worked on it when she went to bed at night, so shell be surprised the next time she turns it on.

Nice new screen and easy to install myself with a youtube video. Would have been nice to include the proper size screw driver with the shipment. There was a super sticky piece of tape on the lower right hand side of the screen that left air bubbles in the screen when I removed it. Overall, good experience.
