I just finished replacing a cracked screen on my C720. It took about 15min following along a youtube video with a flat head screwdriver for glasses and a small razor. I went through several different screen backgrounds once installed and didnt notice any dead pixels. Ill keep an eye out over the next few days and report if anything is noticed.

A very good easy replacement. My did come with a a dead pixel, that Im trying to get rid of. That is the only reason I did not give it a 5 stars

After watching a video posted to YouTube with instructions on how to replace the screen for the ACER C720, I ordered the new screen, and after it arrived, it took less than 15 minutes to successfully replace the screen, and the Chromebook is just like new.

Picked 1-day shipping through prime and it came the next day. Followed a 10 minute video on Youtube and the screen is up and running. Its even brighter than my original screen! However, it does have one dead pixel on the upper right, but its out of sight of the actual browser. Would buy again if I accidentally punch my Chromebook again.

I took my Acer to an electronics store to replace screen. The young man informed me that the service would cost just the same as purchasing a new one. Id just purchase the Acer in November before cracking the screen in April. After asking friends for assistance, I decided to give it a try in replacing it myself. I watched several replacements videos numerous times to have a good understanding on what to do. With tools and the youtube video on tv, it took less than 10 minutes to replace! I am now typing without a big blob in the middle of the screen. My recommendation: make sure you deplete power. Since you can not remove the battery source, depleting all power provides extra safety.

Fast delivery! Installed the new screen per video instructions found on the internet. The most difficult part was the first step of removing the screen cover - I had to use quite a bit of pressure to unsnap it and I was concerned it would break. But, it was fine. The rest is fairly easy. The screws are small and I dropped one - it helped having a cleared work area where I could easily find it. Wonderful to have it working again and not need to shop around for a new chromebook! New screen looks great and its the same matte finish.

Its properly described and easy to install. If youre not sure, just run over to youtube and check out some videos. The entire repair consists of popping off the plastic bezel around the screen, removing four screws, some tape and a pin connector, then setting the pin and re-attaching the tape to the new screen. Replacing the screws and popping the bezel back on. Fin. So yeah, I did that. And the chromebooks looks beautiful again.

Youtube have a video for how to replace it. Very easy to follow. Get it replaced within 15 minutes. Mine is Acer Chromebook C720-2420. Perfect match. Like it. My problem is the old screen is very very dim, almost completely dark screen. I used HDMI to link my chrombook C720 to one of my computer monitor, and it works, so I know that my C720 works, just the screen back light problem. I purchased this, and it perfectly match. Fix it! :)
