For the price I find that this laptop runs pretty well. I have a harder time running more intense games on it but for overall content its perfect. If you want to get into gaming or just want to have a laptop to travel, I think this should be one of your choices!

I use this computer for gaming and programming. It constantly freezes during my games and is very slow during programming. Sometimes, it freezes when I am in a zoom meeting and occasionally when I am just on chrome watching Youtube. Recently, it started to restart every time I close my computer. Before that, it would just take a few minutes to log in, but now t takes a few minutes to log in and a few more minutes to open the apps I need and close everything that automatically pops up. I would recommend you to spend a little bit more money for a better computer. If you will not game or code, then just get a cheaper computer or a chromebook.

Arrived with a broken E key. I have no words to describe my surprise of the condition it is in straight out of the box. With no impact damage on the box or laptop its largely looking like this somehow was overlooked before being packaged for shipping. This is super disheartening. Like how could this have gotten through QA? As a holiday gift this is not acceptable condition to gift it with.

I have an old gaming computer that it just hanging on right now. This new ACER is an outstanding upgrade. I have already downloaded some games (one game in particular involving tanks but I am not sure I am free to say which game/company it is) and it is great. The keyboard (picture above) lights up so thats a plus when I decide to play with the lights dimmed or off in the room). It has the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 which runs the games at top speed.

Okay so I bought this a little over a month ago, Im giving it 2 stars not because the laptop but the laptop charger didnt even last me a month. I bought this while I was in critical condition while being admitted Im the ER, and I figured id get this to have something fun to do. It worked for like 2 weeks but then the charger just stopped working and I cant find another anywhere. The reason Im giving 2 star is whats the point of having the laptop of you dont have a charger for it. I shouldnt have to pay 40-90 buck to use my laptop I just bought...

I got this laptop for my wife so she could edit photos and play games at a mid-level of graphics processing. Unfortunately we never got far enough to test those capabilities. The keyboard had half a dozen keys that worked mechanically but were unresponsive electronically. As a former A+/Network+ certified IT technician I figured I could update some drivers and get this running anyhow. But as I spent a few hours researching this issue I discovered that this keyboard issue is one that is a more general problem for this model of Acer laptop and that this is a known issue that has not been resolved by the manufacturer. After a few hours of attempting fixes, all to no avail, I returned this device for a refund. I recommend anyone looking for a lower end gaming laptop pay the extra $50-$100 to go with another brand and avoid this model altogether.

Disclosure: I immediately upgraded this with an additional 1TB SSD that is quite a bit faster than the one installed and I also swapped out the 8GB of RAM for 32GB. Which ran me an additional $230. I also have it hooked up to a 1440p 32 Lenovo monitor, a pair of Creative pebble speakers, and a Steel Series gaming keyboard, so my experience with this laptop is quite a bit better than stock.
