I normally dont write reviews, but for this item it would be a disservice not to share my experience. I am no Linus from Linus Tech Tips, but I will try to give you the perspective as a competitive gamer.

The only issues I had were related to auto HDR, its best to just leave hdr on, but that issue may be tied to the xbox series x specifically.

At first I thought I had image burn/image retention with this monitor after several hours of use a night and was going to return it, but then after some research it turns out if you turn up the black boost too high (I had it on 8, I believe), the image burn keeps coming back. So I turned it to the setting of 5 and I havnt had a problem with image burn since then. Pretty good monitor, my first time using an IPS @ 240hz for FPS games. Goodbye TN! Great colors also, really pretty pictures and colorful, amazing. Like nothing Ive used in the past.

I thought I had decent monitors. Im a programmer and have 4 24 1920 x 1200 dell monitors in both my home and commercial offices. I tried using one for modern warfare 2 on Xbox series x. That was nothing but headaches. So I decided to splurge on a decent gaming monitor.

You need to turn on hdmi 2.1 in the settings of the monitor. It comes turned off by default. Press the button on the back right of the monitor once for quick menu and once again for full menu. It is under the last tab at the bottom. I spent 20 minutes looking for it under the console settings wondering why it was only outputting at 4k 60htz or 2180 at 120htz. Also this monitor retails $899. Don’t pay $2k for this. It’s beautiful but not worth twice the price. Buy the LG OLED C1 TV instead.

Got this after trying out a cheap 144hz VA 1440p monitor with awful ghosting. The biggest plus on this monitor is definitely the IPS screen. Virtually no ghosting or artifacts, and bright with more saturated colors. The change from 144hz to 240hz isnt as big as 60hz to 144hz, but your eyes can still tell. I got my unit refurbished (probably a return), but had no defects and no cosmetic issues (that I can see).

Here is basically the monitor. The colors are fire, it’s legit as hell. The price to the product outcome was exactly how it should be. The IPS is legit. If you buy it I’d be surprised if you said you didn’t like it
