Amazing budget gaming laptop, it does run quite hot while gaming though. But that can be fix by undervolting the CPU, turn fans on max, I recommend watching Hotel Hero on YouTube, he made several videos on setting up and optimize this laptop.

This laptop cools well, screen looks good, is full of great hardware.

I would love to have kept this laptop, truly. It is a beast, but unfortunately it would crash every 30min to 5-6hrs due to a bios issue. It turns out it has something to do with the SSD or BIOS. I spoke with someone who works for Acer who informed me it can be repaired/fixed, but agreed that my laptop should not fail out of the box. After speaking with them, I intend to simply purchase a different Acer laptop, hopefully one without a memory leak/BIOS issue.

I’ll preface this review with saying that I am returning the first one of these laptops that I purchased. What does that mean? The laptop isnt perfect! Id give it a 3.5 as of now.

Its a great laptop for gaming when you can actually have it stay plugged in and have all of the internal fans working but other than that its not worth the price imo. Whenever its not plugged in to the charger expect to get 20-30 fps in all games cause it switches the gpus for whatever reason and the charger on mine randomly disconnects and reconnects at its own will. Another problem is the overheating it gets heated up a lot and slows down your gaming even more. I have never had problems with most of my other gaming laptops until I bought this one, so Id recommend looking into other non acer gaming laptops cause apparently these things arent that well designed.

The screen broke the first week I got it, when I put about 3 pounds of pressure on top of the closed laptop and shattered then bled until the whole screen was unuseable. I sent it in for repairs under the manufacturers warranty, and after going through all that, they literally sent it back to me without a word and said they wont repair it. Ive since connected it to a computer monitor but still had numerous issues with it, and clearly it was a defectively manufactured laptop that had loose components including the screen placement.

I have loved every single thing about this computer. I have had no problems what so ever! I got this about a year and a half ago and still is working fine. Definitely is worth the buy if youre looking into a gaming laptop. Although I do recommend buying a hard drive on the side so you can download multiple high GB games.

I bought for gaming and I couldnt be happier with my decision. Youll need to be close to an outlet tho, when not plugged in the battery last about 20 minutes.
