As soon as this thing arrived I unboxed it to set things up. Right off the bat the screen started flickering. Youtube screen flickering Acer Predator Helios 300 for some examples of what this looks like. It flickered so bad that I could not browse the internet or play a game. I ended up repackaging it and returning it to Amazon that day. I called customer support and they could not fix it but said that theres a hardware issue and that I should mail it to them for repair. This would probably fix the issue, but why should I spend $1000 on a laptop that comes broken, and then wait weeks for it to be mailed, repaired, and returned for a chance that it will be fixed? Theres plenty of other laptops of this quality on the market around the same price that probably have a better build quality. I think the specs on this thing are incredible but its clear they achieved this by cutting costs elsewhere.

who buys a gaming laptop to use on battery power? this thing is a beast...boots up in 3 seconds, just add another hard drive

After reviewing many types, and coming from a alienware m17xr3, I wasnt sure, but its amazing, cool to the touch and very powerful especially for the price

I had nothing but problems from day one. On the very first boot it locked up and had to force shut down. Figured maybe it was just a fluke. Booted back up. Managed to start setting up. Locked up again. Force reboot. Work a bit more. Blue screen of death. Over and over

It Crashes nonstop and i have no idea why it keeps saying it had to restart.
