I got it as an extension for my existing AC hose, but this one turned out to be long enough to reach the window all by itself. The hose material appears to be totally fine and it installed in the original fittings without any trouble.

This exhaust hose is much sturdier than the one its replacing. Also, the instructions for how to measure the hose and how to pick whether you need a clockwise or counter-clockwise one were perfect. I got exactly what I needed and just in time for the summer heat that hasnt even waited for summer to set in. I love it.
