So, the biggest worry I have for window fans is the noise. This thing isnt silent, but it is much quieter than the standard window fan. It is also very powerful - even on the lowest setting. That was unexpected. On the one hand, this is great because I get too hot to sleep during the summer. On the other hand, I am very aware that there is a fan blowing on me. If youre sensitive to that sort of thing (as I am), you might actually prefer a lower power fan. I like the design. I think the handle is built into the fan box itself, and it looks like the cord is placed better inside the fan box. Overall, its was a cheap little purchase to replace our 15 yr old Lasko fan. This little guy probably wont last as long, which is a shame, but I havent had it that long yet. Who knows?

Its nice and loud and keeps me cool at night.

When I purchased this, I thought it would be a little deeper that it was, I prefer the older style fans that could stand on their own without feet. However, the extra-large feet are still a big improvement over the narrow fans where the feet are only slightly longer than the fans depth. The extra-long and wider feet that come with this fan, should give it more stability than most other fans with the same depth.

There is no handle on the top of this fan! If you intend to hang this fan, good luck. The knob to control the speed is on the face of the fan. So, if you have the fan drawing air into a space the knob is on the outside. If it want such a hassle to return it, I would.

The humble box fan. Its a basic unit to be sure, lightweight, plastic construction, but, it does move a fair amount of air. You get three speeds with pretty quiet operation. Attach the feet at the bottom and you are ready to go. Great for personal use in your office during summer.

We purchased this box fan to help circulate air conditioned air throughout our RV. On high speed we can feel it blowing air for about 14 feet. It blows almost constantly every day throughout this summer heat. It is not as noisy as metal box fans, and I do not think that its motor is quite as strong as the fans from my childhood made in the USA. However, this fan has taken some spills, run a LOT, and is doing a great job. I like that it is light weight and easily portable. You will need to attach its two feet on the bottom of the fan -- very easy to do. I do recommend this fan, and yes I would purchase it again.

This is a great fan, if you bought it for $12 at dollar general. But for $40? No, just no. But hey, if you want throw an extra $28 bucks away, be my guest.

Ive used box fans all my life. I thought this would be a good choice outside my bathroom because theres neither a window nor exhaust fan. At the highest level, it barely moves air. Granted, its at least 15 from the toilet but, still... I shouldve gone with a different style/type.

I use a box fan at night for white noise. My previous one just died on me so I selected this one to replace it. I have had it for just over a week now and am really pleased with it. At higher speeds, it moves the air well but at its lowest speed it provides just the right amount of background noise. My old fan was too loud at its lowest speed and that was disruptive to my sleep but this fan is neither too loud nor too quiet. I am very satisfied to this point with this product. It also stands more solidly than the old one did. It arrived quickly, on time, and in good condition. Thank you!
