> 3 daySince this is the only product available to replace the one I lost it is perfect. It was designed for the Kindle and so it solves the problem of having lost the plug end when I hurriedly left a hotel and unplugged it quickly the plug end and the USB end separated and I left the plug end in the wall and did not notice until I got home. So I suggest one is careful when unplugging the cord from the wall.

> 3 dayBefore I took a trip I knew that I would want to charge my Kindle while I was away and did not have a power cable. I order this cable and took it and was so pleased with how well it met my needs.

> 3 dayWe have two Kindles, and we love them! Both of the power cords after 6 months of service began to have a sticky feeling to the plastic coating on the wire portion of the cord, a month or so later the plastic coating started to flake off exposing the bare wire below. This was clearly a safety hazard. I called Amazon and they IMMEDIATELY replace the two cords, at no cost to me! In my view, this is just another example of Amazons great customer service! I never worry about anything I buy from amazon because they make purchasing and returning merchandise so easy.

> 3 dayI purchased 2 Kindles (2nd generation,) 1 for me and 1 for my mother. While I was re-charging her Kindle and downloading books simultaneously, the cord shredded. It just fell apart leaving all the silver wires exposed. About 2 weeks later as I was re-charging my Kindle my nephew stepped on the cord--cord #2 shredded. Were lucky he wasnt electrocuted. I ordered 2 replacement cords. So far, theyre both okay. We absolutely love our Kindles--but the cord quality is RIDICULOUS. Amazon--please make this cord more durable.

Greater than one weekI ordered this charging cord because the original cord that came with my wifes Kindle fell apart, the plastic/rubber coating on the cord fell off in chunks! The replacement came quickly and was exactly what it was advertised to be. Without this replacement her Kindle would have been useless.

16-12-2024I have no idea how good/bad the product is because I didnt receive it. I paid for one day shipping and it was sent FED EX. As usual, FED EX made no attempt to deliver, never left anything indicating they even tried to deliver it and thats it. Ive complained about FED EX in the past, but it fell on deaf ears at AMAZON. Ive discontinued my prime membership and only will buy something that can be sent directly to my Kindle. If Amazon ever learns that FED EX is irresponsible and reverts to using UPS (amazing, Ive NEVER had a problem with a UPS delivery!), then Ill be back. As for now, Im through. Im sure you will be as unresponsive to this email as you have been to all the other ones in the past.
