AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 6-core, 12-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor with Wraith Stealth Cooler

Upgraded from a 3600, not much for an upgrade but planned to sell a friend my that CPU and got my self the 5600X, I noticed I got an increase in FPS and stability, and its close price to the 3600. Good price to performance.

I did a lot of research on which CPU to buy for my new build and they all landed on the 5600X. It literally ticks every box - incredible performance, great price, and amazing efficiency. Having the CPU cooler bundled and only a 65 watt power limit saves both additional cost and quality of life low temps/low CPU cooling requirement. Its nice to know that I can upgrade this in a few years to a 5900X if I needed to, but honestly this crushes everything I need from gaming to video encoding.

Check with your MoBo mfg to ensure compatibility before you buy. Anything less than a 550 board is unlikely to work. Example, the MSI B350M PRO-VDH is listed on several (non-MSI) sites as supporting this CPU - it doesnt.

This product needs no introduction, I got it for 175$ and its great.

Upgraded to this from my 2700X. Ive seen as much as an 80% jump in single-threaded performance and around 10% (before PBO) in multi-threaded workloads. For £25 less than the price I paid for the 2700X, this processor is amazing. The perfect chip for SFF gaming builds!
