> 3 dayPaired with my RX 470 4G for now and Ive seen a world of difference from my previous i5-6500. Fallout 76 now runs super smooth! HandBrake transcodes take just seconds vs minutes! And StoreMI makes all so much faster and easier to install and play.

Greater than one weekGreat processor for the money. If you can find it at MSRP it’s more than worth it.

Greater than one weekI rate this chip as excellent for a mid range pc. I am not an enthusiast, I just want a pc that works, and works well. This generation of ryzen chips is a step up from the 3000 series. I have a 2400g, 3400g, 3600, 5600g, and this 5600x. The performance difference is real, but not significant enough to warrant the price. If someone else is upgrading from a 3600, and you can get a great price on it, go for that. I have no experience with the ryzen 7 chips, but on paper the 5600x and 5800x are close enough to not justify the difference in price to me. I would use the normal trope, save the money and get a better graphics card but good luck with that right now. If you are trying to play games, 6 cores is enough. The 5600g and 5600x are close enough that you wont regret either.
