Easy drop-in upgrade from my old Ryzen 1700 (non-x) to this with only a BIOS update. Currently running at 4.3ghz with 1.23v and sitting pretty at 27c idle. I can boot into Windows at 4.5ghz with 1.35v, but it didnt seem too stable. Didnt mess with it anymore and put it back to 4.3hz. Even though its rated at 105w, it seems to run cooler than my 1st gen 1700. Worth the extra $20-$30 I paid over the 3700x.

Managed to grab a 6900XT for retail but my Ryzen 1700 was holding it back causing stutters, got this and PC runs fantastic and also ready for Windows 11 as the 1700 was not supported, installed on an MSI Gaming Pro B350 after Bios update.

War enttäuscht das Mein Windows 7 lief mit der 3en Generation nicht mehr, war voll der Zwang 10 zu installieren!

This thing is a beast and the temps are great with an AIO cooler. Cant complain with AMD. Always great products.

The first one I ordered was a DOA, but they sent me a replacement free of the charge that arrived the very next day, and that one worked perfectly. At first I was worried about the stock cooler, cause the last time I upgraded my CPU was back in 13 and back then stock coolers that could be used for gaming were just not a thing, but after installing the Wraith Prism cooler, I was amazed to see that it only had a 10C higher resting temp than my old H80i liquid cooler. Heck, it doesnt even make any noise, its crazy; I thought the fan wasnt working and had to check to make sure cause it was so quiet. Plus it even has easily customizable RGB LEDs, and the software is actually decent. Really, Im amazed by this stock cooler... but the CPU itself is great too!
