> 3 dayMore than sufficient for a high end gaming rig. Runs cool, quiet and very fast. Other components of course need to be high end to get the best out of this CPU.

> 3 dayThis is paired with 16Gb of Ram (3200MHz) and a Radeon XFX RX 5600 XT THICC II PRO and my computer will turn on in about 30 seconds. It played COD Warzone just fine and runs Black Mesa like a champ. Playing Deus Ex on this compared to a Pentium 4 is night and day. Fusion 360 generated a local realistic rendering in just a few minutes. I use the stock cooler and have no issues, though I cant change the LEDs on it for some reason to do with Radeon software or something.

> 3 dayI replaced my i7-4960 which was overclocked to 4.6ghz and went with AMD and the 3800x. Got it setup on a new 570 motherboard and quickly jumped to an all core overclock of 4.4ghz and i can quickly see the increased speed just in Windows boot to Start-up process. 8 cores is enough for me an any virtualization i need to perform. But, for only $100 more you can go to 4 more cores. Tempting, but honestly 8 cores/16 threads is enough for my needs. The 3800X means no need to go for the last drop of overclock.

> 3 dayIs the best medium gamma CPU that you can buy in this moment, if you dont care about OC maybe you dont to buy 3800X version but price permit you to buy it.

> 3 dayHuge upgrade over prior system. Rock stable so far. While not up to intel’s gaming speed it spanks then just about everywhere else. (And I have a mb I can upgrade to the new zen3 later!)
