AMD Ryzen 7 5800X 8-core, 16-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor

I bought this CPU for a gaming rig I was building for a friend and it definitely left us surprised how it preformed everything we threw at it. The temps remained relatively low throughout the benchmarking. This is a great CPU for the price it sells at.

Blazing fast speeds! 5900X would have been a better value since you get four extra cores and a small boost to ipc for a hundred dollars more. But hard to find at msrp these days. 5800X is perfect for if you are just gaming. Runs hotter than other CPUS so be sure to get good AIO cooling. And pair it with an SSD (s) that take advantage of pcie4–might as well.

I bought this CPU on sale, and was pretty excited to upgrade from my i5-8400. After installing a new MoBo and this CPU, everything worked great for a little while. Unfortunately, this didnt last long as my machine has largely become unstable and intermittently crashes at random (Starting about a week after purchase). Im not claiming to know everything in the realm of PC building, but I do however have a Bachelors degree in IT and I have so far been unable to workout the exact issue. I will say however, when it is working properly, that it performs beautifully. I just could not in good conscience recommend making the jump to AMD, at least not with this CPU - if you spend time online searching about issues similar to mine, you will be met with a near endless list of complaints with an endless list of potential fixes (none of which have worked for me thus far). I have has this CPU for over a year now, just for reference.

Super CPU, bin positiv überrascht von der Gaming-Leistung. AMD hat eindeutig aufgeholt und ich kann jedem die neue Zen3 CPUs empfehlen.

Man I love this CPU so much. It does it all. From gaming to video editing to just kicking ass on my desktop. Love it.

After miraculously being able to order one amidst this crazy scarcity, it arrived DOA and I had to return it. This entire release has been a complete debacle. Terrible.

I love this CPU! It runs 4.8Ghz without me doing anything to it! FPS have improved in my games!
