AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 12-core, 24-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor

CPU fan is Missing in the packaging.

CPU Ryzen 5900x stepping B2, 12 core e 24 thread che montato su una Asus TUF X570. Impostata da subito a 4.200Mhz fissi e voltaggio bassissimo di 1,088v, in questo modo ho bypassato il PBO e i suoi voltaggi nel multi core si hanno sempre 4.2Ghz fissi su tutti e 24 i thread, con consumo basso e temperature che non hanno mai superato i 68 gradi nei test di stress, il tutto con un vecchio dissipatore Scythe Mugen 4 adattato per lAM4 (un monotorre con due ventole). Più che soddisfatto del processore, un ottimo upgrade per tirare avanti con lattuale piattaforma, aspettando che maturino le nuove architetture con le DDR5. Si difende più che bene con prestazioni adeguate e poco calore.

Im glad I got this CPU at MSRP. This CPU is great paired with my 32 GB of 4000Mhz RAM and Nvidia 3080.

I have been trying to get warranty service from AMD for about a month on this processor, all I can get is acknowledgement they received the request.

I finally got one after months of stock issues so keep that in mind but realize it wont be considered in this review of the product.

They still have the Far Cry 6 banners there which is super misleading.

This is seriously overpriced in amazon. The actual price is 549 so nearly 30% overpriced. I agree that demand is high but such overpricing on amazon is shocking!. However, the product is perfect and is the 3 stars!

I have used a few AMD CPUs in the past and this one is no different and continues to fully meet my expectations and doesn’t disappoint. As expected, this CPU performed as advertised with no major issues present. Has excellent performance and I rarely if ever can reach 100% utilization and even still it runs very well. The only issue I had was within the week after installation that a few times a CPU temperature warning would randomly appear sometimes even when booting up, however after that first week I’ve never gotten another warning and I’ve used this CPU for a few weeks. Other then that it’s been an excellent experience, would definitely consider upgrading to a 6000 series CPU whenever it launches.

Runs a little hot, but its expected. Stable, and a great pairing for my rtx 3080, easily handles anything I throw at it.
