As described, easy to use.

AS5 does exactly what is does if applied correctly. It is important never to overdo this kind of thermal paste, because if done incorrectly it can short out some circuitry components near the CPU socket. I have a plastic scraper with a plastic bristle brush, 91% Isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol and unbleached paper towels or Q-Tips at hand. All you need to do is apply a rice grain amount in the center once cleaned. I (attempted) to repair a broken PS3 that someone gave to me with it, but with no luck, probably because I couldnt figure out how to put it back together properly. I also applied this on a machine with a loud CPU fan in IDLE mode 3, and it ran a whole lot quieter and cooler. I am going to try IC7 next because this thermal paste does seem over-hyped, and on the downside it does have materials that are electrically conductive, which poses a huge risk for your motherboard if applied incorrectly or inaccurately, but I still rate it a quality product.

I have an early 2008 MacBook Pro with the graphics card failure, and after reflowing the logic board under an IR lamp, managed to get it working again. I applied Arctic Silver on the chips under the heat sink, and my old MacBook has been running like a champ for the last three months, with no end in sight. I looked into buying cheaper thermal paste from Best Buy, but opted to go with Arctic Silver because it was my go-to in XBox RRoD repairs.

My only complaint is there isnt more

Im currently running a i7 7700 and this paste is keeping my CPU running until 40 under load. Definitely a good paste to use. Ive been using the Arctic Silver Brand for 15 plus years now and I havent been disappointed

It works for the CPU I needed it for. It is thick and cools the processor enough so the warning beep doesnt sound.
