Arctic Silver 5 High Density Polysynthetic Silver Thermal Compound -12g (AS5-12G-R)

If I buy something electrical with heatsinks I pretty much always replace it with this stuff as everything usually comes with the crappy white thermal grease on it. Every little bit helps and Arctic silver is one of the best.

There my be better performing thermal compounds nowadays , but none are as consistent, or as inexpensive as Arctic Silver 5.

This stuff is phenomenal! I recently reassembled my gaming PC for cleaning and decided to reapply thermal paste. Skipping details, I used this on an AMD FX-6350 with a Corsair H55. I noticed slightly lower temps, but Ive also lightly overclocked.

I love this, really worth the price, i got now temps about 13ºC not playing, and i do not have external fans like noctua or ock from thermaltake! and playing my temps never reach 40ºC!!! its amazing.

Been using Silver HS compound for years. Recently upgraded CPU and needed some more HSC. Theres not doubt in my mind that the Silver stuff works. Artic Silver has name recognition. I’ve used other silver HSC’s before, and this new poly stuff works great. Great price for the 12g tube!
