It is good . But As shown in the customer review no case and no packet is there. From next time be aware of this . But this is not a clone . It has a golden diode. If it contains a green diode then it is fake. Customers be aware......

This board works well and has the distinct advantage of having the ATMEL chip socketed. But, his board was a knock off copy of a real Arduino UNO R3 board and since these are open source boards, that shouldnt matter. What does matter to me is the fact that the manufacturer of this board decided to print made in Italy on the board and do everything possible to make this look like the genuine article. There are several manufacturers of Arduino clones (Like Sunfounder or SainSmart) that dont attempt to look like the original and dont attempt to deceive unsuspecting customers. Since Arduino provides it compilers, program examples and circuit diagrams for free, lets at least try to support them and if you choose not to, then purchasing a clone is just fine. Trying to pass a clone off as a real Arduino is just silly.

I find Arduino is so popular and think it might be a good bridge between computer and functional instruments. I am wrong. With Arduino IDE, I have no problem to control the device. However, when I try to control it with other programming platform, I got stuck and dont know what serial commands should be used. I searched around for hours and did not get anything useful. Do they keep the basic commands as secret and force others to use their IDE?

I received my item fulfilled by Amazon on the typical Prime delivery speed, however I received it in a foil anti-static bag in a plain white box with a clear blue USB cable. The item was not packaged in the typical ARDUINO folded box Im use to getting the item in with the Thank you for supporting ARDUINO card. Upon further examination the SMD LEDs for the power indicator and L #13 pin LED were RED instead of GREEN and AMBER/YELLOW per the typical arrangement. It seemed to function okay, these arent rocket science but given the difference in packaging style, LED color variation and the fact that a USB cable was included lead me to believe this is a really good knock-off I received. I did some research about how FBA works with all the warehouses Amazon has and such. This item was FBA (fulfilled by Amazon), just wondering if the seller chose commingled inventory when they sent in their inventory to Amazon to be fulfilled. If they did choose commingled inventory then this may have note been this particular sellers fault because Amazon mixes like inventory if the seller allows it. My customer service phone call to Amazon was a shock to me when they didnt seem to care if the item was counterfeit or not. After much explanation to the customer service representative she refunded me, sent a return label and told me she reported this to the counterfeit investigation team for further inquiry which takes up to five business days.

My board was purchased from iBayda for $13.99 and shipped from China. On close inspection the board appears to be counterfeit, although a pretty close one. The soldering looks okay, and the board is downloading software okay. The most obvious sign that its a counterfeit is the O in the UNO label, which has rounded sides on the authentic boards. I should have realized something was fishy about the low price. Next time, Ill order directly from Adafruit or Sparkfun. Nonetheless, the board appears to be working okay, so Ill only knock off a couple of stars, because I will still likely make use of this board.
