> 3 dayIm a senior lady who is 71 years old. I have used computers my whole adult life. When I ordered this Chromebook instead of my usual purchases in the past of Laptops, I did so by reading what the differences were between the two, then I spoke with my son-in-law about the differences and got the impression that there was not that much difference. I just received my Chromebook four days ago. I was surprised at how nice it was. Very heavy to me at first, compared to all other Laptops Ive used, but as Im using it, it does not fall off my lap when I move a little! I am going to keep this in mind when I find the right Laptop for me. This Chromebook in my opinion, is one of great quality! Quite solid and sturdy! I have two favorite things on this Chromebook. One is the screen! It is so clear, very colorful, easy to read. It is the BEST SCREEN I have ever used! The Touch Screen is more precise when using it as a laptop. For example, ones I have used in the past, have always been difficult to select the exact spot where you want the cursor to be! I would need to select, go back, select again, go back, the line, the letter, the number. I dont know if its due to the clarity of the screen or if its programming, but not having to constantly select and re-select over and over again, is a blessing! The fact in which you can fold this screen over and work on it as a tablet is great! What I dont necessarily like is how touchy it is. When I folded it over and started using it as a tablet, My hands, in holding it to use as tablet, kept touching the on/off button on the side.

> 3 dayEverything about this Chromebook was great except its usibility. I would use it right next to my old hp laptop and the pages would load right away on the hp but on this there would be a circle saying loading for close to five minutes. I exchanged it twice with the same problem before I just returned it. Way too slow and it wasnt my internet because everything else connected to my wifi worked just fine!

> 3 dayThis Chromebook is fast, the battery is fine so far, but it seems the quality is not very good. Backlit keyboard is too dim to clearly see on a rainy day, but is ok in the total darkness. The touch screen is missing touches sometimes. The case itself has rough edges in places. It has a weird placement of a power button and side button for volume control. It always gets into the way when you are picking the laptop, also the volume button is broken and gets stuck in the volume down position. And I have not even used this button. Overall I like the laptop enough to keep it, if the volume button would give me more problems I would open the case and fix it.

> 3 dayIt is working great for me. The box it came in was banged up a bit, so it wasnt well protected on the inside, but it arrived on time and was as described. I love it. Thanks

Greater than one weekI got this in hopes of using it for school and work. It was really cool and I was so excited... then I tried to get Adobe Creative Cloud, only to find out this only uses apps. My bad for not understanding what a Chromebook was, so I returned it.

> 3 dayThe laptop is very well built and doesnt feel cheap. Arguably the best chromebook for the price and features on the market. The keyboard is Back lit and the display is good. The 8gb ram gives it fast response and having 64gb of built in storage is very nice. Gives you plenty of storage for your average user. You can always expand storage with SD card or external hard drive. The battery is very good and touch screen is very responsive. The display is bright and vibrant. With consistent use doing web searching and messing around you will get 8 + hours easy. Charging is fast as well. I did alot of comparison shopping and if you are looking for a laptop for everyday use this is an excellent choice. You can download Microsoft Word and excel free from app store and they work very well. It does take a day or two to get use to the chrome o.s. versus using windows. But, that is expected. It lays flat like a tablet would and automatically turns off keyboard when in the tablet position. The touchscreen is just like using a tablet and response is very good. The camera is decent enough for video calls etc. But probably not as good as newer smart phones offer. I came from a windows o.s background and within a few hours I was use to chrome features and navigation. The apps or programs are in the task bar which you can be move from bottom left and right side of the screen. At first I was annoyed not being able to move the icons on the home screen as I did with windows machines, but after a while I liked the Taskbar and wasnt bothered at all. To right click you use two fingers at once to click the pad. This threw me off at first. I kept trying to click the right side of the pad with no luck until I looked that up. Just an FYI if youre new to chromebook. But, you get use to that quickly. Overall Id give it a 9/10. I am fairly tech savvy and needed a laptop for email, web surfing, and other basic needs. This was perfect for me and does everything I need a computer to do fast and efficiently. Enjoy.

> 3 dayNot gonna lie I didn’t exactly know where the chrome book was and mistake it for Regular laptop. But it’s not bad your going to need to be around wifi most of the time to truly take a vantage of it. If you’re like me and write a lot of papers (word) your going need to remember your can’t download the full version on a Chromebook and either going to use the phone Version or The web browser version. Good Wi-Fi when using us as most because if not it’s going to lag behind every now and again.
