> 3 dayNot gonna lie I didn’t exactly know where the chrome book was and mistake it for Regular laptop. But it’s not bad your going to need to be around wifi most of the time to truly take a vantage of it. If you’re like me and write a lot of papers (word) your going need to remember your can’t download the full version on a Chromebook and either going to use the phone Version or The web browser version. Good Wi-Fi when using us as most because if not it’s going to lag behind every now and again.

> 3 dayI got this Chromebook for my daughter to use for school. It is well built, the screen is bright, and it has more than enough battery life to last through a school day. It is a bit bigger and heavier than some of the other 2 and 1 Chromebooks that many schools issue for their students, but this means the screen is also bigger and looks great. As well, you can flip the keyboard around and the touchscreen becomes a tablet. My daughter loves this and I am very happy with my purchase.

> 3 dayI have to use headphones to watch my college lectures because the speakers are too quiet. Sometimes it locks up on a black screen - I use the power button + refresh to restart it. Outside of these issues, I’ve had no trouble with it. I don’t use the touchscreen very often but have had no issue with it when I do. I use a wireless mouse, not the built in pad, so I can’t speak to its quality. Sometimes the keyboard light isn’t bright enough but it’s fine.

> 3 dayIve used Chromebooks since they first came out. The key for me was a good CB with a backlit keyboard. They are hard to find at this price... AWESOME and small overall package for a 14 display.

> 3 dayI am an avid ASUS hardware fan. Laptops, monitors, tablets, and now a Chromebook. I love that this Chromebook feels solid and well-built with its aluminum body. I have been and always will be a Windows user, but I am so impressed with this Chromebook. It boots fast, all the apps I need for everyday basic needs are there and work great (Chrome, Zoom, Docs, YouTube, Messaging). Sorry, Windows, but I havent had any lockups or crashes. I love that I can use it as a laptop and then fold the keyboard back and use it as a tablet. The touch screen is responsive, and the image quality is crisp. ASUS has done an excellent job with this device. I like the feel of the keyboard and the fact that it is backlit is important too when lighting conditions make it difficult to see. I highly recommend this little laptop/tablet. Solid piece of hardware!

> 3 dayI wanted to really love this from the get go but setting up a printer was a pain. So let me maybe help someone else. I have a Canon mg6100 series. So being printer ready was not there and the Google print cloud is not an option anymore. So I finally downloaded the print share app. My printer worked with it when I printed a test page. The only thing was I had to buy the premium app for $10.99. I printed from the premium app and it works. That is cheaper than buying a new printer and less than the pain of sending this Chromebook back and finding one that works with my printer.

Greater than one weekThe price was excellent for this Chromebook and considering the specifications, it seemed like a good deal. I even looked at other reviews and thought that this would be the one! I really didnt use the computer that much since I bought it; maybe 15-20 times. Then 2 weeks after the return deadline I was given an error that Chrome OS needed to be recovered. I tried to fix it myself, but was unable to do so. I called Asus and was told that I would need to send it in to be fixed by them. Packaging and shipping cost $75!!! Considering the price of the computer was $250 and that it was less than 90 days old, they should have replaced it! Computers should not need to be fixed after 90 days! This doesnt bode well for the computers future. Disappointingly, I really wonder if I will ever purchase an Asus product again.
