Its a beautiful unit but the buttons started popping off after about a year and right after the internal wifi adapter failed. I honestly had way better expectation for this unit as I mainly use it for casual browsing. Not sure whats gonna go next...

I have been using this laptop for a couple of months now. Overall my experience has been pretty good.

Es un buen equipo pero de repente me empezó a dar problemas con un pantallazo azul, esto solo viendo videos de YouTube, la verdad batalle e investigue mucho ya que la garantía de Amazon ya había terminado, OJO PARA LOS QUE TIENEN ESTE PROBLEMA, afortunadamente la solución es actualizar la BIOS, considera que hay que buscar como hacerlo en Internet ya que el manual no dice y este proceso es muy direrente a lo acostumbrado, después hay que desistalar el driver de la placa BASE, cuidado no es tan fácil hay que desistalarlo con una herramienta de AMD y luego actualizar por el nuevo, todo esto lo pueden encontrar en la página de oficial de Asus de este equipo, solo deben saber el modelo exacto de su equipo ya que hay 3 versiones, en mi caso es el FX505DT, ya después no tendrán de nuevo el pantallazo azul, solo hay que saber investigar y tener los drivers actualizados, de nada.

The very month I made my final payment, this thing crapped out. It doesnt even show a charging light when plugged in.

A few crashes in the beginning but working fine since then.

The fans are poorly designed. They spin and the oils from the bearings or whatever is in there gets on the fan blades which basically collects a ton of nasty dust over time. Havnt had mine that long and Ive already had to take it apart and clean it to stop the grinding fan noise and overheating issues which did fix it. Other then that i think asus is a great company and i trust them over the rest.

Only downsides are the shorter battery life and small starting storage but otherwise I love everything about it and thus far neither of the flaws have affected me much
